See it in action
The Spinex FLEX Hybrid in Broome — warm sunset gradient with orange grip, inspired by the red sands and pearl-white shores of Broome on the north-west coast of Australia. The FLEX Hybrid is built around one idea: a paddle should make your shots more predictable, not louder. It's a balanced all-court paddle for players who care about consistency on every shot.
Specifications
- Face: T700 raw carbon
- Core: 16mm thermoformed polypropylene honeycomb
- Construction: edgeless, thermoformed one-piece
- Certification: USAPA approved for tournament play
- Colourways: Storm, Iron, Broome
Who it's for
FLEX Hybrid suits players who already know they want better touch, longer rallies, and a sweet spot that forgives mistakes. If your goal is to develop steady dinks, controllable spin, and clean third-shot drops, it will feel right. If you're chasing maximum power above everything else, this is not the paddle for you.
On court
The 16mm thermoformed core gives you a softer pop and a stable rebound. The raw carbon face holds enough texture for shaped spin without feeling slippery. The edgeless build keeps the swing weight balanced, so corners stay predictable and the paddle doesn't twist on off-center contact.
Every FLEX Hybrid is covered by a 12-month limited warranty and a 30-day return window. Designed and tested in Australia.

Storage
Store your paddle in a dry environment, preferably indoors. Avoid leaving it in a vehicle or exposing it to extreme heat or cold, as temperature changes can impact performance and long-term durability.
Paddle Face and Edge Guard Care
After play, wipe down the paddle face to remove dust and ball residue. A slightly damp cloth is sufficient for regular cleaning. Clean the edge guard with a damp cloth as needed to keep it free from dirt and debris. For raw carbon fiber surfaces, avoid harsh cleaners or abrasive materials, as they may affect the surface texture. Minor cosmetic wear over time is normal and reflects regular play.
Grip Care
Wipe down the grip after each session to remove sweat, oils, and dirt. Regular care helps maintain a consistent feel and extends grip life. You may add an overgrip if preferred. Overgrips can improve comfort, manage sweat, and protect the original factory grip.

Confidence without compromise.
We built FLEX for players who care about control, feel and responsiveness, and who think a paddle should look as considered as it plays. Trusted performance, distinctive colour, and a design that feels unmistakably yours.
Performance and design, given equal attention.
Built as one piece
The face, core and frame are heat-pressed into a single structure. Nothing is glued on to rattle loose, and the response stays the same in month twelve as day one.
Five layers, one bond: textured T700 face, premium foam injection, honeycomb core.

Control that holds at speed
A 16mm honeycomb core with dual-layer foam injected edges keeps the face stable when rallies get fast, so blocks and resets stay down instead of popping up.
Off-centre contact stays playable rather than twisting the handle.

Spin you can shape
The raw carbon face holds enough texture to grip the ball through contact, so topspin and slice come from your swing shape, not from luck.
Same face grade as our A$139 NOVA. The difference is construction, not material.

Walk into any tournament
FLEX Hybrid is on the USA Pickleball approved equipment list, which sanctioned events in Australia require. The paddle you train with is the paddle you compete with.
Approval matters the day you enter your first sanctioned event.

Named for Western Australia
Storm carries the colours of coastal storm fronts, Iron the deep reds of the Pilbara, and Broome the sunset over Roebuck Bay. Same paddle underneath all three.

FLEX HYBRIDA$199

Chasing pure power? The FLEX is not that paddle. It is control first, with power on tap. Starting out instead? The NOVA at A$139 is the honest place to begin.

FAQ
Is the FLEX Hybrid right for beginners, or should I start with the NOVA?
If you are brand new, our NOVA at A$139 is built for exactly that: a wider face and a soft core that make the ball easier to place. The FLEX Hybrid is the hybrid of the range, ready from your first game: an edgeless thermoformed build, a more responsive core, and USA Pickleball approval for sanctioned events. If you already know you will keep playing and competing is on your horizon, start here and skip the second purchase.
Will this paddle feel too powerful or too hard to control?
No. FLEX Hybrid is tuned for balance, not “wild power”. You get enough pop to finish points, but the feel stays controlled so your dinks, resets, and placement don’t fly.
What does it feel like on soft shots (dinks, drops, resets)?
It’s designed to feel solid and predictable. The stable sweet spot helps reduce mishits, and the response stays consistent even when contact isn’t perfect.
Does it help with spin? I’m not a spin expert.
Yes. The carbon face is built to give reliable grip on the ball, so you can generate controlled topspin and slice without needing perfect technique. (This is also where a T700 pickleball paddle style surface helps with predictable bite.)
Does it reduce vibration? I get hand or wrist fatigue sometimes.
Yes. FLEX Hybrid is built for a more comfortable hit with less harsh feedback, especially on faster exchanges and off-center contact. It’s a paddle you can play longer sessions with.
How durable is it for edge hits and regular play?
Very durable. The thickened TPU edge guard is designed to protect the paddle from scrapes and impacts while keeping the paddle structure stable over time, especially if you play often or on outdoor courts.
Is it USAPA approved for tournaments?
Yes. FLEX Hybrid is USAPA approved and manufactured to official specifications, so you can use it in sanctioned play with confidence.
